Approved the Staff Recommendation (4-0, Solis abstained): Motion by Turley-Trejo, Second by Bagel. The vote reflected unanimous approval with Solis abstaining. 1. Approve meeting minutes of October 27, 2022, and December 7, 2022 Recommendation: Approve the Action Minutes of: 1.1 The special meeting on October 27, 2022 and 1.2. The regular meeting on December 7, 2022 BUSINESS 2. Selection of Chair and Vice -Chair of the Commission for 2023 Calendar Year Recommendation: That the Planning Commission select its Chair and Vice -Chair to serve calendar year 2023. Approved to appoint Lanae Turley-Trejo as the Chair for calendar year 2023 (5-0): Motion by Watts, Second by Ruiz. The vote reflected unanimous approval. Approved to appoint Bob Hagel as the Vice Chair for calendar year 2023 (5-0): Motion by Ruiz, Second by Watts. The vote reflected unanimous approval. 3. Receive Presentation on Final Draft of 2022 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan prepared by Mikel Alford, Emergency Manager Recommendation: That the Planning Commission receive and file the Final Draft of the 2022 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. Recommendation: Adopt a resolution entitled: PC RESOLUTION NO.2023-01 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA APPROVING PLANNING APPLICATION NO. PA22-1101, A MODIFICATION APPLICATION TO REVISE THE TIMING THRESHOLD OF A CONDITION OF APPROVAL FOR A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED MULTI -FAMILY HOUSING PROJECT LOCATED AT 28580 PUJOL STREET AND MAKING A FINDING THAT NO FURTHER ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW IS REQUIRED UNDER SECTION 15162 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (APN: 922-053-047, 922-053-048, AND 922-053-021) Approved the Staff Recommendation (5-0): Motion by Ruiz, Second by Watts. The vote reflected unanimous approval. Recommendation: Adopt a resolution entitled: PC RESOLUTION NO. 2023-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA APPROVING PLANNING APPLICATION NO. PA22-1034, A DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 17,110 SQUARE FOOT INDUSTRIAL BUILDING LOCATED AT 27562 VIA INDUSTRIA AND MAKING A FINDING OF EXEMPTION UNDER SECTION 15332 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) GUIDELINES Approved the Staff Recommendation (5-0): Motion by Ruiz, Second by Bagel. The vote reflected unanimous approval. Recommendation: Adopt a resolution entitled: PC RESOLUTION NO.2023-03 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA APPROVING PLANNING APPLICATION NO. PA22-1035, A DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 20,825 SQUARE FOOT INDUSTRIAL BUILDING LOCATED AT 27550 VIA INDUSTRIA AND MAKING A FINDING OF EXEMPTION UNDER SECTION 15332 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) GUIDELINES Approved the Staff Recommendation (5-0): Motion by Ruiz, Second by Bagel. The vote reflected unanimous approval.
