A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMECULA ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS SUCH AND AS THE
GOVERNING BODY OF CITY OF TEMECULA TO HEAR AND
TAKE ACTION ON CLAIMS IN CLOSED SESSION
WHEREAS, from time to time claims for money or damages are presented to the City
or to the City of Temecula pursuant to Section 905 of the California Government Code or Section
3.16.010 of the City of Temecula Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, each such claim is reviewed by City and staff and consultants and then
considered acted upon by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to have such claims reviewed and acted
upon in closed session; and
WHEREAS, this procedure will promote efficient review and disposition of such claims.
NOW, THERE~, BE IT RF~qOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS SUCH AND AS THE GOVERNING
BODY OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council will review and take action on claims in closed
session.
SECTION 2. The City Manager will provide the City Council with a monthly listings of
claims activity.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause
a certified resolution to be filed in the office of the City Clerk.
