HomeMy WebLinkAbout120390 OTLRB Minutes· / OLD TOWN TEMECULA ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE December 3, 1990 Members present: Donald Cummins, Robert Morris, Dallas Gray, Bill Harker Guest present: christina Grina The meeting convened at 8:00 a.m. at 28465 Front Street Suite 201. Purpose of the committee was explained to Grina and the goals for the preservation of Old Town Temecula were outlined for her. 2. Grina suggested a set of guide lines be developed, colo~s, materials, height limits, windows, typical designs, etc. The coramittee discussed various alternatives on how to accomplished the goals for Old Town and how the City of · Temecula might help. The need for off street parking came up and Harker suggested an inventory be taken of all vacant property in old Town listing size and location. It was agreed this should be done. 5. Multi-level parking structures were also discussed as one way of increasing available parking space. Harker reminded the committee of a previous discussion on preparing a check list of things that must be done in order of sequence to serve as a guide for developers interested in building in Old Town. Morris showed Grina old photos of that were taken many years ago to what we are trying to preserve. buildings in the area help her understand Possible uses of Murrieta Creek was discussed relative to building a cross over pedestrian bridge and making walk ways in the bottom of the creek bed.
