A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCILL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA, CALIFORNIIA, DESIGNATING CERTAIN
CITY OFFICIALS AS INDIVIDUALS AUTHORIZED TO
EXECUTE APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTS FOR THE
PURPOSE OF OBTAWWG FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
UNDER FEDERAL CIVIL DEFENSE ACT OF 1950 AS
AMENDED (PUBLIC LAW 920, 81ST CONGRESS, 50 USC
APP. 2251-2297).
@EREAS, a disaster such as earthquake, fire or flood could occur in the City of
Temecula; and
@EREAS, damage from such disaster may result in significant losses and the need for
financial assistance from State and Federal sources; and
"EREAS, designated officials must be authorized to sign and execute applications and
documents for the purpose of obtaining necessary financial assistance under the Federal Civil
Defense Act of 1950 as amended (Public Law 920, 81st congress, 50 USC App. 2251-2297);
and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temecula does hereby RESOLVE
that the following City Officials are authorized to execute applications and documents for the
purpose of obtaining necessary financial assistance under the Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950
as amended (Public Law 920, 81st Congress, 50 USC App. 2251-2297)

Shawn D. Nelson, Community Services Director
Mary Jane McClamey, Finance Officer

SECTION 1. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, this 23rd day of 1993.
