A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMIECULA DESIGNATING AN AGENT TO ACT IN THE CITY'S
BEHALF FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING CERTAIN FEDERAL
ASSISTANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES RESOLVE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That David F. Dixon, City Manager
or
Harwood Edvalson, Assistant City Manager
or
Mary Jane McLarney, Finance Officer
is hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City of Temecula, a public entity
established under the laws of the State of California, this application and to file it in the Office
of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain federal financial assistance under
P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Assistance Act of 1988,
and/or state financial assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Act for flood, which
occurred in January of 1993.
Section 2. That the City of Temecula, a public entity established under the laws of the
State of California, hereby authorizes its agent to provide to the State Office of Emergency
Services for all matters pertaining to such state disaster assistance the assurances and agreements
required.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, this 8th day of June, 1993.
