HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-101 CC ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 99-101 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA ESTABLISHING INTERIM APPLICATION FEES FOR MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT PERMITS AND MASSAGE PRACTITIONERS LICENSES WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Temecula determined that the City should develop and adopt their own rules to regulate massage professionals; and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted an Ordinance to regulate massage establishments and massage practitioners that will take effect on November 6, 1999; and and WHEREAS, the fee will not exceed the cost to the City for processing the applications; WHEREAS, there is a need to adopt an interim application fee to address the estimated costs associated with processing these applications until the final fee is set through the ongoing user fee study; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Temecula, State of California, the annual application fees for Massage Establishment Permits shall be $500 for the Initial Year and $200 for each Subsequent Year. In the event a massage establishment permit has been revoked by the City or County or has lapsed without renewal, the Initial Year Application Fee shall apply. The cost of the annual application fee for a Massage Practitioner License shall be $50. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1 nj.~For~ 9th day of Octob 9.
