A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMIECULA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE GRANT
OF EASEMIENT FOR PUBLIC STREET AND UTI]LITY
PURPOSES AT THE INTERSECTION OF NICOLAS ROAD
AND CALLE GIRASOL FOR THE WALCOTT CORRI]DOR
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CrrY OF CULA DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Grantor to convey a temporary road easement (see attachment 'A') to
City for all-weather street improvements near the intersection of Nicolas Road and Calle Girasol.
The condition also requires the temporary road easement to be quitclaimed back to the Owner
upon completion by the Owner of permanent road improvements.
WHEREAS, the Easement shall be a right-of-way and the public shall have rights of
access and use consistent with the Easement's use as a public street.
WHEREAS, the City shall construct all of the necessary street improvements upon the
Easement in accordance with City standards.
WHEREAS, the Easement shall remain in full force and effect until completion by the
Grantor, and acceptance by the City, of an approved alternate two lane all-weather route similar
to the improvements as proposed on the Walcott Corridor improvement plans PW94-10 along the
existing right-of-way of Nicolas Road and Calle Girasol, satisfying all requirements imposed by
law and the City for the construction, completion and use of same as a public street. Following
acceptance by the City of the alternate roadway, and upon the request of the Grantor, the City
shall quitclaim any and all interest in the Easement to the Grantor.
NOW, THEREF'ORE9 BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Temecula hereby accept the offers of dedication for public street and utility purposes near the
intersection of Nicolas Road and Calle Girasol as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.

CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE
(Government Code Section 27281)
THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the interest in real property convey by the attached Grant
Easement, dated May 14, 1996 from Robert J. Drolet a Grantor, to the City of Temecula, is
hereby accepted by order of the City Council of the City of Temecula on May 14, 1996, and the
Grantee consents to recordation thereof by its duly authorized officer.
