A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA REQUESTING CONTINUATION OF
SERVICES BY THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE
WHEREAS, the City of Temecula was incorporated on December 1, 1989, as a
general law city of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, Section 57384 of the Government Code of the State of California
provides for the continuation of services by the County to the area of the County which is
now the City of Temecula.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside is hereby requested
to continue to furnish to the City of Temecula services furnished prior to incorporation to the
area of the County which is now the City of Temecula. It is further requested that said
services be furnished for the remainder of the current fiscal year or until the City Council
requests discontinuance of a service or services, whichever first occurs.
Section 2. The City Manager is directed to deliver a copy of this Resolution to the
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Riverside County.
