A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA RECEIVING INCORPORATION STUDY
REPORT AND EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO THE
TEMECULA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The City Council of the City of Temecula finds as follows:
WHEREAS, the City was incorporated on December 1, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce had prepared at its expense
a report and recommendations concerning actions needed to implement the incorporation at
the first City Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, the said report by John McTighe was extremely helpful to the City
Council in preparing for the first Council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council resolves and orders:
Section 1. The City Council hereby officially accepts the report of John McTighe
prepared under the direction of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce retroactive to
November 22, 1989;
Section 2. The City Council expresses its sincere appreciation to the Temecula
Valley Chamber of Commerce for providing the report and for its support and assistance in
helping the City to get off to a good start.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of January, 1990.
