A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMECULA APPOINTING AN ACTING CITY ENGINEER AND
TRAFFIC ENGINEER AND APPOINTING AN ACTING PLANNING
DIRECTOR
The City Council of the City of Temecula does resolve, determine and order as
follows:
Section 1: Tim D. Serlet, P.E., Division Manager for Willdan Associates is hereby
appointed Acting Interim City Engineer and Traffic Engineer to perform all the duties of those
positions.
Section 2: Ross S. Geller, Division Manager, Planning Division for Willdan
Associates is hereby appointed Acting Planning Director for the City of Temecula to perform
all duties of that position.
Section 3: The County of Riverside Road Commissioner is hereby appointed Interim
City Engineer for the City of Temecula for the purpose of executing planning and engineering
applications pending at the County of Riverside as of April 5, 1990. The Road Commissioner
is hereby authorized to designate his immediate subordinate to approve on his behalf any
official City business under his jurisdiction when it is necessary for him to be absent from his
place of work due to illness, official business or vacation. To expedite the approval of certain
matters, the Road Commissioner may delegate to certain of his subordinates the authority to
approve on his behalf City sanitary sewer and storm drain plans, tentative subdivision
requirements, final tract and parcel maps and related documents, letters of transmittal and
reports on activities.
Section 4: The Riverside Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is hereby appointed
Deputy City Clerk for the City of Temecula for the purpose of signing such documents as are
pending at the County of Riverside as of April 5, 1990. The County Clerk is hereby
authorized to sign such documents as he has been authorized to sign in writing by the City
Clerk.
Section 5: The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution.
