PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Jack Szanto, Temecula, representing the Rancho Madera Homeowners Association, addressed the
Commission.
COMMISSION REPORTS:
COMMISSION CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Action Minutes of January 29, 2009
Approved staff recommendation - (5-0) - Commissioner Ramos made the
motion; it was seconded by Commissioner Hagel; and voice vote reflected
unanimous approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
1.1 Approve the Action Minutes of January 29, 2009.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Request for Multi-Way Stop Signs - Cabrillo Avenue
Approved staff recommendation - (5-0) - Commissioner Hagel made the
motion; it was seconded by Commissioner Curran; and voice vote reflected
unanimous approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
2.1 Deny the request for Multi-Way Stop Signs on Cabrillo Avenue at Vallejo Avenue
West, John Warner Road, Yorba Avenue, and Vallejo Avenue East;

2.2 Direct staff to install stop controls on minor street approaches at Cabrillo
Avenue, John Warner Road, Yorba Avenue, and Vallejo Avenue East.

The next regular meeting of the City of Temecula Public/Traffic Safety Commission will be held on
Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 6:00 P.M., Temecula City Hall, Council Chambers, 43200 Business
Park Drive, Temecula, California.
At 6:54 P.M., Commissioner Curran moved, seconded by Commissioner
Arbogast, to adjourn the Public Traffic Safety Commission meeting to March 26,
2009, at 6:00 PM.
