1. Action Minutes of June 25, 2009 Approved staff recommendation (4- 0 -0 -1)
Commissioner Hagel made the motion; it was seconded by Commissioner
Arbogast; and voice vote reflected approval of those present with Commissioner
Hannum abstaining.
RECOMMENDATION:
1.1 Approve the Action Minutes of June 25, 2009.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Request for Multi -Way Stop Siqns Harveston Community Approved staff
recommendation (5 -0 -0) Commissioner Arbogast made the motion; it was
seconded by Commissioner Ramos; and voice vote reflected unanimous approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
2.1 That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission:
1. Deny the request for Multi -Way Stop Signs on Harveston Drive at Dalton Road
and Lakehouse Road /Savannah Drive and Village Road at Landings Road;
2. Direct staff to develop and present to the Commission a Citywide Comprehensive
Plan for the installation of marked crosswalks at multi -way stop intersections;
3. Recommend maintaining the present level of control on Harveston Drive at
Lakeview Road and Harveston Way until the comprehensive plan is developed.
