PRESENTATIONS:

Police Chief O'Harra introduced Lt. Busby who will be the replacement for Lt. Lopotsky.

COMMISSION REPORTS:
COMMISSION CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Action Minutes of April 22, 2010 - Approved staff recommendation —(4-0-1) —
Commissioner Hagel made the motion; it was seconded by Commissioner Ramos;
and voice vote of those present reflected approval with Commissioner Hannum being
absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
1.1 Approve the Action Minutes of April 22, 2010.

COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Review of the Preliminary Draft City of Temecula Sustainabilitv Plan - Approved staff
recommendation —(4-0-1) — Commissioner Arbogast made the motion; it was
seconded by Commissioner Hagel; and voice vote ofthose present reflected approval
with Commissioner Hannum being absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
2.1 That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission receive and file the report:
3. Traffic Conditions — Redhawk Parkway at Wolf Valley Road - Approved staff
recommendation -(4-0-1) - Commissioner Arbogast made the motion; it was
seconded by Commissioner Hagel; and voice vote of those present reflected approval
with Commissioner Hannum being absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
3.1 That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission:
1. Deny the request to relocate the existing crosswalk from the north leg to the
south leg of Redhawk Parkway, and
2. Direct Staff to modify the traffic signal operation to improve pedestrian and
vehicular conditions at the intersection of Redhawk Parkway and Wolf Valley
Road.

At 7:14 P.M., Commissioner Ramos moved, seconded by Commissioner Arbogast, to
adjourn the Public Traffic Safety Commission meeting to Thursday, June 24, 2010, at
6:00 PM.
