COMMISSION REPORTS �
COMMISSION CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Action Minutes of October 27, 2011 - Approved staff recommendation —(2-0-3) —
Commissioner Youmans made the motion; it was seconded by Commissioner Hagel;
and voice vote reflected approval with the exception of Commissioners Carter, Coram
and Cosentino who abstained.
RECOMMENDATION:
1.1 Approve the Action Minutes of October 27, 2011.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Election of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson — Appointed Chairperson Hagel to
serve another year as Chairperson —(5-0-0) — Commissioner Youmans made the
motion; it was seconded by Commissioner Carter and voice vote reflected unanimous
approval.
Appointed Commissioner Youmans to serve another year as Vice Chairperson —(5-0-
0) — Commissioner Hagel made the motion; it was seconded by Commissioner Carter
and voice vote reflected unanimous approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
2.1 Recommend that the Public/Traffic Safety Commission entertain nominations to
elect a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson to preside through the 2012 calendar

3. School Area Traffic Safetv Workshop — Area 1, Earle Stanlev Gardner Middle School
and Luiseno Elementarv School — received and filed the report.
RECOMMENDATION:
3.1 Receive and file the report.

At 7:42 P.M., Commissioner Youmans moved, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to adjourn
the Public Traffic Safety Commission meeting to Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 6:00 PM.
