A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES
ASSOCIAT!~ WITH CHAFFER 12.08 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO TAXICABS
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance adding Chapter 12.08 to the
Municipal Code regulating the provision of taxicab services within the City of Temecula, and
WItEREAS, Chapter 12.08 of the Municipal Code instructs the Business License Officer
to collect fees and charges relating to taxicab operation in the City of Temecula.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA,
CALIFORNIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. If any charge set forth in this resolution or the application thereof to any person
or circumstance is held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect any other charge or
application thereof, and to this end the charges of this resolution are declared to be severable.
Section 2.
The City of Temecula hereby adopts as its fees the following:
Operator permit--
Additional Amount for each Taxicab--
Operator Background Check--
Driver Permit--
Driver Background Check--

$57.00*

$57.00*
* plus actual amount charged by State of California for summary criminal records
check. Current amount is $32.00.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect concurrently with the effective date of
Urgency Ordinance No. 94-15.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution.
