A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMECULA REGARDING THE USE OF FACSIMILE
SIGNATURES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES RESOLVE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is resolved that Security Pacific National Bank as a designated depositary
of the City of Temecula is hereby requested, authorized and directed to honor all checks, drafts
or other orders for the payment of money drawn in the City's name on its checking accounts
(including those drawn to the individual order of any person or persons whose names appear
thereon as signer or signers thereof) when bearing or purporting to bear the facsimile signature(s)
of any two of the following:
The Mayor or the Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Temecula;
and
The City Manager, or the Assistant City Manager, or
the City Treasurer of the City of Temecula
Section 2. It is further resolved that said Bank (including its correspondent banks) shall
be entitled to honor and to charge the City for all such checks, drafts or other orders for the
payment of money, regardless of by whom or by what means the actual or purported facsimile
signature or signatures hereon may have been affixed thereto, if such facsimile signature or
signatures resemble the facsimile specimens from time to time fried with said Bank by the City
Clerk or other officer of the City.
Section 3. All previous authorizations for the signing and honoring of checks, drafts or
other orders for the payment of money drawn on said Bank by the City are hereby continued in
full force and effect as amplified hereby.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution.
