1, MINUTES
1.1 RECOMMENDATION:
That the Community Services Commission approves the minutes of the
November 5, 2012 Commission meeting.
Appro�ed staff recommendation (3-2) — Motion by Commissioner
McCracken, seconded by Commissioner Meyler, Commissioners Hogan
and Schwank abstained.

1.2 RECOMMENDATION:
That the Community Services approves the minutes of the December 3,
2012 Commission meeting.
Approved staff recommendation (3-2) — Motion by Commissioner
McCracken, seconded by Commissioner Meyler, Commissioners Hogan
and Schwank abstained.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Election of Commission Chairperson and Vice Chairperson
. RECOMMENDATION:
2.1 That the Community Services Commission elects a Chairperson to serve
from November 1, 2012 to October 31, 2013.
Commissioner McCracken nominated Commissioner Hogan for Chairperson,
Hogan accepted. Motion approved 5-0.
2.2 That the Community Services Commission elects a Vice - Chairperson to
Serve from November 1, 2012 to October 31, 2013.
Commissioner Hogan nominated Commissioner Meyler for Vice — Chairperson,
Commissioner Meyler accepted. Motion approved 5-0.
3. SISTER CITY UPDATE
RECOMMENDATION:
3.1 . That the Community Services Commission receive and file this report with
regards to upcoming events, projects and exchanges with our two sister
cities.
Received and filed.
4. Sub-Committee Assiqnments
RECOMMENDATION:
4.1 That the Community Services Commission reviews the Commissioner
assignments to the various City sub-committees and make
recommendations and/or modifications.
Commissioner Schwank was added to the Sports Council and to the Trails
Master Plan sub-committees. A new sub-committee, the Human Services
Committee was established with Commissioners Fox and Schwank serving
as representatives.

Commission Business
Commissioner Hogan reported that the temperature at the Senior Center is too
cold. Acting Director of Community Services, Tamra Irwin, will request that the
Facilities Maintenance Department make adjustments/repairs as needed.
ADJOURNMENT
The Community Services Commission adjourned at 7:08 pm. The next regular meeting to be
held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 6:OOpm at the Temecula Civic Center Council Chambers,
41000 Main Street, Temecula, California.
