CONSENT CALENDAR
Action Minutes of February 27, 2014 — Approved staff recommendation (4 -0 -1).
Commissioner Hagel made the motion; it was seconded by Commissioner Carter and
individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioners Carter, Hagel, Richardson
and Youmans; Commissioner Coram was absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
1.1 Approve the Action Minutes of February 27, 2014.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Update — Nighthawk Pass Neighborhood Traffic Calming Alternatives — The
Commission received and filed the report. Motion made by Commissioner Hagel and
seconded by Commissioner Carter to direct staff to implement an 11pm to 6am
parking restriction and have striping done (4 -0 -1). Individual voice vote reflected
approval by Commissioners Carter, Hagel, Richardson and Youmans; Commissioner
Coram was absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission:
2.1 Receive and file the report; and
2.2 Provide further direction to Staff regarding implementation of a parking restriction
from 11 PM to 6 AM, on Nighthawk Pass from Choate Street to the City Limits (Tract
Boundary).

ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 6:47 P.M. with a motion made by Commissioner Hagel (who
dedicated this meeting to his uncle, Joseph C. Hagel), and a second by Commissioner
Richardson.
The next regular meeting of the City of Temecula Public/Traffic Safety Commission will be
held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at Temecula Civic Center, City Council
Chambers, 41000 Main Street, Temecula, California.
