CONSENT CALENDAR
Action Minutes of April 24, 2014 - Approved staff recommendation (5 -0 -0).
Commissioner Richardson made the motion; it was seconded by Commissioner
Carter and individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioners Carter, Coram,
Hagel, Richardson and Youmans.
RECOMMENDATION:
1.1 Approve the Action Minutes of May 22, 2014.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Neighborhood Traffic Calming — Clubhouse Drive — Approved staff
recommendation (5 -0 -0) for items 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5. Commission directed staff
to defer items 2.1 and 2.2 until after a meeting has been held between the City,
HOA and residents. Commission also directed staff to evaluate potential turn
restrictions at Bay Hill Drive /Rainbow Canyon Road and Clubhouse Drive/
Pechanga Parkway. A motion was made by Commissioner Carter and
seconded by Commissioner Coram. Individual voice vote reflected approval
by Commissioners Carter, Coram, Hagel, Richardson and Youmans.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission:
2.1 Concur with the results of the Multi -Way Stop Warrant Analysis that Multi -Way Stop
Signs are not justified at the intersections of Clubhouse Drive at Bay Hill Drive,
Master Drive and Murfield Drive;
2.2 Concur with Staff recommendation to relocate the existing two -way stop signs from
Bay Hill Drive to Clubhouse Drive;
2.3 Direct Staff to schedule a workshop with the residents of Clubhouse Drive and
Rainbow Canyon Villages Homeowner's Association to discuss potential
neighborhood traffic calming alternatives;
2.4 Direct Staff to schedule this item for further consideration at a future Commission
meeting; and
2.5 Direct Staff to install additional 25 MPH signs on Clubhouse Drive, Bay Hill Drive,
Masters Drive, and Muirfield Drive to reinforce the 25 MPH prima facie speed limit.

The meeting adjourned at 8:18 PM with a motion made by Commissioner Carter and
seconded by Commissioner Hagel.

Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at Temecula Civic Center, City Council Chambers, 41000
Main Street, Temecula, California.
