HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-021 CC ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 2000-21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA AMENDING THE CITY'S CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temecula has previously adopted a Conflict of Interest Code to apply to certain officers and employees of the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temecula desires to amend the Conflict of Interest Code to update its provisions; and Section I. The Conflict of Interest Code for the City of Temecula is hereby amended in full to read as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED, by the City Council of the City of Temecula at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of March, 2000. DOC 3/23/00 Recreation Superintendent Senior Accountant Senior Building Inspector Senior Management Analyst Traffic Engineer Senior Planner Members of all City Commissions, Boards, and Committees not otherwise required to file Conflict of Interest Statements 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 Consultants shall be included in the list of designated employees and shall disclose all of the information required to be disclosed by designated employees subject to the following limitations: The City Manager or his or her designee may determine in writing that a particular consultant, although a designated position, is hired to perform a range of duties that is limited in scope and thus is not required to fully comply with the disclosure requirement described in this Section. Such written disclosure shall include a description and based upon that description, a statement of the extent of disclosure requirements. The City Manager's determination is a public record and shall be retained for public inspection in the same manner and location as this Conflict of Interest Code. The Mayor, City Council, Members of the Planning Commission, City Manager, City Attorney, City Treasurer, and Director of Finance are all required to file disclosure statements pursuant to State law and thus are not included herein.
