Speakers are limited to three minutes each. If you desire to speak to the Commission about an item not listed on the Agenda, a yellow"Request to Speak" form should be filled out and filed with the Commission Secretary. When you are called to speak, please come forward and state your name and address. Action Minutes of August 25, 2016—Approved staff recommendation(3-0-1-1)with a motion made by Commissioner Hagel and seconded by Commissioner Mann. Individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioners Hagel, Mann, and Richardson. Commissioner Carter was absent; Commissioner Sullivan abstained. Request for Multi-Way Stop Signs—La Serena Way at Calle Ping Colada—Approved staff recommendation(4-0-1)with added recommendation to conduct a workshop for the residents on Calle Pina Colada to discuss traffic calming measures. Motion was made by Commissioner Richardson and seconded by Commissioner Mann. Individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioners Hagel,Mann,Sullivan and Richardson. Commissioner Carter was absent. RECOMMENDATION: That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission: 2.1 Maintain the present level of control at the intersection of La Serena Way at Calle Pina Colada. 2.2 Direct Staff to install a northbound refuge lane on La Serena Way at Calle Pina Colada. 2.3 Provide further direction to Staff regarding the implementation of a "Road Diet" on La Serena Way. Gloria Whittington spoke regarding this item. 3. Reschedule Public/Traffic Safety Commission Meetings of November and December 2016—Approved staff recommendation (4-0-1)with a motion made by Commissioner Sullivan and seconded by Commissioner Hagel. Individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioners Hagel, Mann, Sullivan and Richardson. Commissioner Carter was absent. RECOMMENDATION: That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission: 3.1 Direct Staff to cancel and reschedule the regular meetings for November and December 2016, and perform the appropriate postings and noticing requirements per the Government Code.
