A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA, ESTABLISHING AN ALL-WAY STOP
CONTROL AT THE INTERSECTION OF BUTTERFIELD
STAGE ROAD AND LA SERENA WAY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council has considered the facts justifying the need for
stop signs at the location described in this resolution.
A. The City Council hereby finds and determines the installation of stop signs
pursuant to this resolution will enhance public health, safety, and general welfare at the
intersection.
B. The City Council hereby finds the proposed stop signs will not create any
adverse conditions in the area.
C. The City Council hereby finds the proposed stop signs serve as an interim
measure to control traffic while arrangements are made for the installation of the traffic
signal control.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 10.12.100 of the Temecula Municipal Code,
the following All-Way Stop intersection is hereby established in the City of Temecula:
Butterfield Stage Road at La Serena Way
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Temecula this 14th day of March, 2017.
