COMMISSION REPORTS
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Action Minutes of February 23 2017—Approved staff recommendation(3-0-1-1)with a
motion made by Commissioner Sullivan and seconded by Commissioner Carter.
Individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioner Carter,Sullivan and Hagel;
Commissioner Mann abstained; Commissioner Richardson was absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
1.1 Approve the Action Minutes of February 23, 2017.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
2. Consideration of Multi-Way Stop Signs — Nighthawk Pass at Channel Street and
Choate Street — Approved staff recommendation (4-0-1) with a motion made by
Commissioner Carter and seconded by Commissioner Sullivan with a request that the
landscape at Nighthawk Pass at Choate Stree be reviewed. Individual voice vote
reflected approval by Commissioner Carter,Mann,Sullivan and Hagel;Commissioner
Richardson was absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission
2.1 Maintain the present level of control at the intersection of Nighthawk Pass at.
Channel Street; and
2.2 Recommend the City Council adopt a Resolution establishing Multi-Way
Stop Signs at the intersection of Nighthawk Pass at Choate Street

3. Amarita Wav and Montele ro Way Traffic Conditions — Approved staff
recommendation(4-0-1)with a motion made by Commissioner Sullivan and seconded
by Commissioner Mann. Individual voice vote reflected approval by Commissioner
Carter, Mann, Sullivan and Hagel; Commissioner Richardson was absent.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Public/Traffic Safety Commission;
3.1 Direct Staff to initiate a Pedestrian and Traffic Circulation Study on Amarita
Way and Montelegro Way.

ADJOURNMENT—The meeting adjourned at 6:54 PM with a motion made by Commissioner
Carter and seconded by Commissioner Sullivan.
