HomeMy WebLinkAbout18-18 CC Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 18-18 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA, TO AMEND THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS 2018-22 TO ACCELERATE FUNDING FOR MEDIANS AND ORNAMENTAL BARRIERS CITYWIDE, FROM FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 TO FISCAL YEAR 2017-18 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Recitals.The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares that: A. The City of Temecula Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget for Fiscal Years 2018-22 includes the Medians and Ornamental Barriers — Citywide Program. B. The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget identifies a projected appropriation of $250,000 from Measure S funds in Fiscal Year 2018-19 to be used for the installation of medians and ornamental pedestrian barriers citywide. C. Amending the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget to accelerate $100,000 of Measure S funds from Fiscal Year 2018-19 to Fiscal Year 2017-18 is necessary for installation of a high visibility crosswalk with flashing beacons and sidewalk improvements. Section 2. Amendment of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget A. The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget for Fiscal Years 2018-22 is hereby amended to accelerate funding for Medians and Ornamental Barriers — Citywide from Fiscal Year 2018-19 to Fiscal Year 2017-18. B. An accelerated amount of $100,000, is hereby approved for Fiscal Year 2017-18. C. The Capital Improvement Program, as amended by this Resolution, is consistent with the City of Temecula General Plan and each element thereof. Section 3. Certification.
