A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI,I. OF THE CITY OF
TEMECULA APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT
FUNDS FOR URBAN RECREATIONALI AND CULTURAL
CENTERS, MUSEUMS, AND FACILITIE~S FOR WILDLIFE
EDUCATION OR ENVIRONMENTAL EDU~CATION PROGRAM
UNDER THE SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS, CLEAN WATER,
CLEAN AIR, AND COASTAL PROTECTION BOND ACT OF
2000

For the Imagination Workshop, the Temecula Children's Museum
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of T.~mecula does find, determine and
declare that:
a. The people of the State of California have enacted the Urban
Recreational and Cultural Centers, Museum, and Faclhtles for Wildlife Education or
Environmental Education Program which provides fundsIto the State of California for Grants
to cities, counties, nonprofit organizations and federally recognized California Indian Tribes.
b. The California Department of Parks and Recreation has been delegated
the responsibility for the administration of the Program within the state and grant Project shown
above, setting up necessary procedures, the California
c. Said procedures established by Department of Parks and
Recreation require the Applicant's Governing Body to certify by resolution the approval of the
application ..... '

d. The Applicant will enter into a Con[tact with the State of California for
the Project.
Section 2. That the Board of Directors of the Te ecula Community Services District:
a. Approves the filing of an application for local assistance funds from the Urban
Recreational and Cultural Centers, Museum, an~ Facilities for Wildlife Education
or Environmental Education Program under thelSafe Neighborhood Parks, Clean
Water, Clean Air, and Coastal Protection Bond Act of 2000.
b. Certifies that the Applicant has or will have sufficier funds to operate and maintain the
Project.
c. Certifies that the Applicant has reviewed, understands, and agrees to the General
Provisions conta ned in the Contract show in the ProCedural Guide.
d. Appoints the City Manaqer as agent to conduct all ~
documents including, but not limited to applications,
so on, which may be necessary for the completion ol

legotiations, execute and submit all
agreements, payment requests and
the aforementioned Project.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of the Resolution.
