OLD TOWN TEMECULA LOCAL REVIEW BOARD
MARCH 9, 1998 · 9:00 A.M.
TEMECULA COMMUNITY CENTER, 28816 PUJOL STREET

1. Public Discussion (3 minute limit per speaker)
a. None
2. Approval of Minutes
a. February9, 1998- Approved 3-0
3. Old Business
Streetscape Archway, the Board recommended granite base and cut out letters with
natural finish for the iron work. Final design needs to be approved by the Board.
Patio Furniture, a committee of four (4) merchants comprised of 2 restaurants and
2 retail shops should be assembled for further review of the options. Notification
to all business owners in Old Town was highly recommended. Examples of
businesses included Chocolate Florist, Fantasy Forest, Rancon (Rose's), Mad
Madeline's Grill and Silver Spoon.
c. Baron's Approved 4-0
4. New Business
Lic-iddy Split, A proposal to enclose the existing deck, Approved 4-0, Applicant
to provide decorative braces on the Main Street elevation. The proposed signage
shall be approved under a separate approval.
Mural, Circle K wall, Approved 4-0, concerned about graffiti and what can be
done about it.
