OLD TOWN TEMECULA LOCAL REVIEW BOARD
June 9, 1997 · 9:00 A.M.

Members Present: L. Markham, B. Morris, B. Harker, D. Mighell, B. Gorham,
Staff Present: J. Meyer, Saled Naaseh
1. PUBLIC DISCUSSION (3 minute limit per speaker)
a. 4th and Mercedes, Baron's
The colors and materials board was presented to the Board. The applicant-indicated that all
colors will be semi-gloss. The Board generaly agreed with the color scheme but the colors
need to be consistant with the Old Town colors. The color and material board needs to be
brought back for Board approval including the roof material.
b. Temecula Stage Stop, Dool
Mr. Dool presented his plans for a wine tasting facility and patio gazebo at his 6th Street site.
The Board generally agreed with the concept with the exception of the height of the gazebo
structure. Complete plans will be brought back for final Board approval.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR:
a. April 14, 1997 - APPROVED 3-0 WITH DM & BH ABSENT
3. NEW BUSINESS
a. Bus and Parking Directional Signs
Approved 4-0 with L. Markham obstaining. The Board directed staff to ensure the letter type
and colors to be consistent with the Directory Signs.
b. Facade Improvement Program Amendment
No action was necessary on this item. The Board requested clarification on the loan being a
lien the property. Staff concured.
