HomeMy WebLinkAbout072700 DH MinutesMINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA PLANNING DIRECTOR JULY 27, 2000 A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Planning Director was called to order on Thursday, July 27, 2000 at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula, California. Senior Planner, Dan Rockholt presiding. Also present were Associate Planner, Denice Thomas, Associate Engineer, John Pourkazemi, and Minute Clerk, Lesa Hoover. Senior Planner, Dan Rockholt opened the public hearing for items not listed on the agenda at 1:32 P.M. There were no requests to speak. Planning Application No. PA98-0437 (Conditional Use Permit and Development Plan) Associate Planner, Denice Thomas presented the staff report for PA98-0437 (Conditional Use Permit and Development Plan) Request to design, construct and operate a convenience store, automatic car wash, and gasoline station on 1.08 vacant acres within the Highway tourist (HT) Commercial Zone. John Pourkazemi, Associate Engineer advised that in order to mitigate traffic issues, the applicant is required to make improvements along the Western Bypass Corridor and Front Street. Senior Planner, Dan Rockholt opened the public hearing at 1:45 P.M. Condition No. 36 of General Requirements was changed to read as follows," All improvement plans and grading plans shall be coordinated for consistencly with adjacent projects that are approved or constructed." Daniel B. Goalwin, Architect and Agent for the Applicant, 18215 72nd Ave. S., Kent, WA concurred with the Conditions of Approval with the minor change for item no. 36 and deletion of condition no. 35. Larry Markham, 41750 Winchester Rd, Temecula represented the seller and requested a minor change to Public Works Condition no. 35. It was agreed that Conditon 35 will be deleted as well as condition no. 55 and 56. Planning Manager, Dan Rockholt closed the public hearing at 2:03 PM. Senior Planner Dan Rockholt adopted the exemption for Planning Application N. PA98-0437 (Conditional Use Permit) and approved the project subject to the Findings and Conditions of Approval.
