HomeMy WebLinkAbout083100 DH MinutesMINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA PLANNING DIRECTOR AUGUST 31, 2000 A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Planning Director was called to order on Thursday, August 31, 2000 at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula, California. Senior Planner, Dave Hogan presiding. Also present were Assistant Planner, Rolfe Preisendanz, Senior Engineer, Jerry Alegria and Minute Clerk, Lesa Hoover. Senior Planner, Dave Hogan opened the public hearing for items not listed on the agenda at 1:42 P.M. There were no requests to speak. Senior Planner, Dave Hogan opened the public hearing at 1:45 P.M. Planninq Application No. PA00-0209 (Tentative Parcel Map No. 29821 Assistant Planner Rolfe Preisendanz presented the staff report for Planning Application PA00-0209. This is a request to create a parcel map that will consist of one parcel (5 units) totaling 67,494square feet. The location is 43172 Business Park Drive. Senior Planner Dave Hogan opened the public hearing at 1:35 PM. Larry Markham, 41750 Winchester Road, Temecula, CA, the Applicant's Representative, concurred with the Conditions of Approval with the exception of no. 13. An updated list of Conditions of Approval was completed prior to the meeting deleting said condition. Senior Planner Dave Hogan closed the public hearing at 1:42 PM. Senior Planner Dave Hogan adopted the exemption for Planning Application No. PA00-0209 (Tentative Parcel Map) and approved the project subject to the Findings and revised Conditions of Approval. 2. Planninq Application No. PA00-0278 (Development Plan for Product Review) Location: Proposal: Environmental Action: Case Planner: Action: ADJOURNMENT Assistant Planner, Role Preisendanz presented the staff report for Planning Application PA00-0278 (Development Plan for Product Review) Northwest of the intersection of Meadows Parkway and Royal Birkdale Road within the Temeku Hills Specific Plan Area. Product Review for three models for construction on 109 lots within Tract 28482- 3 (Cypress Point). This project is exempt from further evaluation under CEQA due to a prior finding of no significant environmental effect and the resulting from the certification of the EIR for the Temeku Hills (Margarita Village) Specific Plan. There is a concern with additional noise that will be generated by additional older children outside at all times of the year especially by the pool, the position of the wall around the facility and what type of wall will it be? PA99-0388 (Conditional Use Permit) and approved the project subject to the Findings and Conditions of Approval. The meeting was adjourned at 1:42 P.M.
