REVIEW COMMITTEE
Regular Meeting
November 12, 1991
biembers Present: Dallas Gray, Bob Morris, Donald Cummins,
Bill Harker
City Representatives Present: John Meyer & Dave Hogan
The meeting convened at 8:30 a.m. at 28466 Front Street
Suite 201.
The subject of Kid's World came up again and it was no%ed
there is still no evidence of compliance with the
improvements to modular building as agreed to by the
owner back in January of this year. .The committee recom-
mends to the City that the owners should either comply or
have tile building removed from the premises. This situa-
tion needs some enforcement from the City.
A question was raised on the status of the porch and ramp
that Bill Perry installed over the sidewalk in front of
the building located on Front Street across from the
Swing Inn Cafe. Morris said he had been told the
structures would be removed within the next two weeks.
Window frames on the south side of Rosa's Cantina still
to be antiqued w~th stain to match the other windows in
building .
John Meyer said that Dave ttogan has been hired by the
City as Associate Planner for development of the Old Town
specific plan. He said that specs have been sent out to
several consultants for bidding purposes and they will be
up and running on the selection process in 2 to 3 weeks
and will then go out for public input.
Meyer reported the matter of the proposed expansion of
district boundaries will be on the City Council agenda at
this e~ening's council meeting under matters from staff
and will not be open for public comments. He said the
reason for extending the boundaries to Rancho California
Road to the north and to the Hwy 79 off ramp to the south
was to provide gateway entrances to the old town area.
He added they are considering adding Pujol Street, both
sides, also to take in the Town Association property,
old slaughter house site and old homes on west side of
the street, He went on to say that only the west side of
Front street south of Santiago Road would be included
because the east side was already built out.
