Yes No (All questions must be answered) 1 New Developments - This category applies to commercial, industrial, residential, mixed-use, and public projects that are expected to meet or exceed 5,000 square feet of impervious surface collectively over the entire project. Modifications to Existing Developments—This category includes projects that create, extend, or replace 5,000 square feet or more of impervious surface on an already developed site. Note: If modifications create less than " 2 50% of the impervious surface of a previously existing development, and the existing development was not X originally subject to WQMP requirements, a WQMP shall be required only to the addition, and not to the entire development. 3 One Acre Threshold Projects—This category applies if the project results in the disturbance of one acre or more of land, regardless of impervious surface coverage. Al 4 Automotive Shops—This category applies if the project will service motor vehicles (including but not limited to general maintenance, mechanical and body repair,wholesale/retail supplies, painting, tires, brakes). Restaurants-This category applies to establishments that sell prepared foods and drinks and are expected to meet or exceed 5,000 square feet of land development. Restaurants where land development is less than 5,000 square 5 feet must meet all WQMP/SSMP requirements but may exclude the requirements for hydromodification and conventional treatment devices in the BMP layout. Hillside Developments—This category applies if the project is expected to meet or exceed 5,000 square feet of 6 impervious surface, and is located in an area with known erosive soil conditions, and will require grading natural slopes of 25%(4:1)or steeper. Environmentally Sensitive Areas (ESAs) — This category applies if the project is located within or directly adjacent to or discharging directly to a natural drainage channel or other ESA and is expected to meet or exceed 2,500 square feet of impervious surface, or increases the area of imperviousness to 10% or more of its naturally t/ 7 occurring condition. Note: "Directly adjacent" means within 200 feet of the ESA. "Discharging directly to" means outflow from a drainage conveyance system that is composed entirely of flows from the project, and not commingled with flows from adjacent lands. Parking Lots—This category applies if the project is expected to meet or exceed 5,000 square feet of impervious g surface for temporary parking or storage of motor vehicles. This category includes parking areas associated with ( any of the categories listed above. /\ 9 Streets, Roads, Highways and Freeways — This category applies if the project is expected to meet or exceed 5,000 square feet of impervious surface for the transportation of motor vehicles. 10 Retail Gasoline Outlets—This category applies if the project is expected to meet or exceed 5,000 square feet of land development,or if an 'Average Daily Traffic'(ADT)count of 100 or more vehicles per day is projected. H you answered"YES"to any of these questions,a WQMP/SSMP must be prepared and submitted. Note: In addition to these criteria, and per the City of Temecula water quality ordinance (TMC 8.28.500), a WQMP/SSMP shall also be required if the City Engineer determines that a project may result in the discharge of significant levels of any pollutant into any tributary to any storm drain system. Furthermore, projects that do not meet any of the above criteria may still be required to implement equivalent permanent post-construction BMPs into the design of the project but may exclude the requirement to generate a WQMP/SSMP in its entirety.
