DIRECTOR OF PLANNING
April 10, 2003
A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Director of Planning was called to order on Thursday,
April 10, 2003, at 1:30 PM, at the City of Temecula Main Conference Room, 43200 Business
Park Drive, Temecula, California. Principal Planner, Don Hazen presiding.
Also present was Associate Planner, Thomas Thornsley, Minute Clerk, Lisa Kau, and Minute
Clerk Yahnel Bishop.
Principal Planner, Don Hazen called the meeting to order at 1:33 PM.
Item No. 1: Planninq Application PA03-015 Product Review for 119 detached sinqle-famil¥
residential homes, ran.qinq from 2,621 to 3,322 square feet with 3 different plans
and 3 amhitectural desiqns located in the Crowne Hill Tract 23143-10, -11, -F.
The applicant, Ms. Mary Anne Paradise, representing Greystone Homes, 40980 County Center
Drive, Suite 110, Temecula, CA, presented an overview of the changes for the product review.
Associate Planner Thomas Thornsley presented the staff report. Principal Planner Don Hazen
opened the public hearing at 1:43 PM. Ms. Selena Steele, representing Country Road Estates,
PO Box 890339, Temecula, CA, was pleased with the changes made to the homes facing
Pauba Road. Ms. Paradise agreed to the conditions of approval, but was informed that this
project is exempt from TUMF Fees mentioned in condition number 24, since this is a vested
map. Principal Planner Don Hazen closed the public hearing at 1:47 PM.
Since the memo regarding the TUMF Fees was not provided Principal Planner Don Hazen~--
added, "If applicable" to condition number 24. Principal Planner Don Hazen approved PA03'-
015 subject to the conditions of approval with the above-mentioned changes and adjourned the
meeting at 1:48 PM.
