HomeMy WebLinkAbout082803 DH MinutesMINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AUGUST 28, 2003 A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Director's Hearing was called to order on Thursday, August 28, 2003, at 1:30 PM, in the Main Conference Room, located at 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula, California. Principal Planner, Don Hazen presiding. Also present were, Rick Rush, Associate Planner, and Minute Clerk, Adria Y. McClanahan. Item No. 1: Planninq Application No. PA03-0400 (Minor Conditional Use Permit) is a request To Operate A Veterans Of Foreiqn War Post (Post 4089) within 750 square feet of an existinq 28,000 square foot buildinq to include a Type 52 Liquor License (Veteran's Club) Located At 28075 Diaz Road and known as assessors parcel no. 921-040-028. Principal Planner, Don Hazen, explained the procedures of the Director's Hearing. Associate Planner, Rick Rush, presented the staff report. Principal Planner, Don Hazen, opened the Public Hearing at 1:33 PM. Representative Ron Brennan, Commander, VFW Post 4089, 29000 Pujol Street, Temecula, California, 92590, agreed with Staff Conditions of Approval. Principal Planner, Don Hazen reviewed the proposed hours of operation. Hazen also stated since the Minor Conditional Use permit specifies 750 square feet as the size of the facility, then should the applicant wish to expand the facility, they will be required to modify the Conditional Use Permit. Principal Planner, Don Hazen approved PA03-0400 subject to the conditions of approval.
