AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING THE CITY
COUNCIL AS THE PLANNING AGENCY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Temecula, California, appoints itself as the
Planning Agency of the City of Temecula, pursuant to Govt. Code § 65100.
Section 2. The City of Temecula was incorporated on December 1, 1989 and has no

Section 3. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage as an urgency
Ordinance, in that the City Council finds and determines that the adoption of this Ordinance as
an Urgency Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health
and safety because of the previously stated reasons set forth.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause it
to be posted in the three designated posting places.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of December, 1989.
