HomeMy WebLinkAbout081904 DH Minutes MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AUGUST 19, 2004 A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Director's Hearing was called to order on Thursday, August 19, 2004, at 1 :30 PM, in the Community Development Conference Room, located at 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula, California. Director of Planning Debbie Ubnoske presiding. Also present were Associate Planner Stuart Fisk and Minute Clerk Adria Y. McClanahan. Item No.1: Planninq Application No. PA04-0293 A Minor Conditional Use Permit to establish a home childcare business for UP to 12 children. Mondav throuqh Fridav from an existinq home. located at 43008 Corte Cabrera. Associate Planner Stuart Fisk presented an overview and staff recommendations of this project. The project proposes to establish a Large Family Day Care Home Facility within an existing single-family residence. Staff has reviewed the proposed project and has determined that the subject property and existing on site improvements will accommodate the proposed use. Furthermore, the subject property is adequate in both size and shape to accommodate all necessary development features, including parking, prescribed in the Development Code. The proposed Large Family Day Care Home Facility is consistent with the policies of the Temecula General Plan, as well as the development standards for the Paloma del Sol Specific Plan and City Development Code and is therefore considered to be compatible with the nature, character and use of the surrounding area. Planning Director, Debbie Ubnoske opened the Public Hearing at 1 :34 PM. No requests to speak were presented. Director of Planning asked applicant if she had reviewed the Conditions of Approval. Applicant had reviewed and agreed with the conditions of approval. Director of Planning Debbie Ubnoske approved PA04-0293.
