ROLL CALL: Mayor Matt Rahn and Mayor Pro Tern Zak Schwank
PUBLIC COMMENTS: - None
COMMITTEE BUSINESS
Joint Use of School Park/Overflow Issues — District and City will assess extent of parking
impacts, improve communication on issues, Police Department will increase team
coverage of hot spots, starting with Rancho Bella Vista Park (a Valley -Wide facility).
2. Illegal Drug Use and Coordination — District and City will partner to utilize each other's
various communication channels to improve communication with residents and students.
3, Transit — Temecula Trolley to include Margarita Middle School and Temecula Valle
High School item taken last — Mayor Pro Tern Schwank would like to expand RTA
route 55 to include MMA, TVHS, and Library. Jennifer Nguyen from RTA estimated
cost to expand route would be $107k, with an additional $20k if fare recovery was
desired. Cost could be reduced by reducing schedule to peak times only.
4. Behavioral Health Discussion-TVUSD staff/students (item taken third) — TVUSD
providing mental and behavioral health resources for staff and students, contracting with
Care Solace, offers EAP. Mayor Rahn would like to explore a Mental and Behavioral
Health Task Force.
