COMMITTEE BUSINESS
Discuss Proposed Amendment to CR&R Franchise Agreement and Rates for FY2022-23
— PW staff presented the proposed 7th Amendment to CR&R Franchise Agreement and
proposed residential and commercial rates for FY 2022-23. The commercial rates
include SB 1383 compliance fee and will be scheduled for public hearing at July 12, 2022
City Council meeting.
2. Update on Plans for EV Charging Stations at City Facilities — City staff presented plan
for installation of 8 EV charging station at Mike Naggar Park, using SCE Charge Ready
Program. Other City owned sites being evaluated for EV charging stations with this
program as well.
3. Replacement of City Fleet Vehicles with Electric Vehicles — City staff applying for
installation of 8 EV charging station at FOC using SCE Charge Ready Program. If
application approved, staff anticipates purchase of electric fleet vehicles at time of
replacement if required electric vehicles available.
