PREPARED BY: Brandon Rabidou, Principal Management Analyst
RECOMMENDATION: That the Commission adjourn to conduct bus tour of planning
projects from/at various locations throughout the City of Temecula for the purpose of the Planning
Commission to provide comments to staff on the projects.
BACKGROUND: Approximately every two years, Community Development staff
takes the Planning Commission on a bus tour of various locations throughout the City to see the
results of the Planning Commission’s work. This tour includes drive-by or walking tours of
previously approved projects to gauge the success of projects. Planning staff will be available to
answer questions, provide general City information (e.g., upcoming transportation projects, etc.)
and gather general feedback about the previously approved projects.
The Planning Commission will not be voting on any matters or upcoming projects. This tour is
strictly an informational business item.
