A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMECULA APPROVING THE THIRD AMENDMENT
TO THE BROKER FEE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY AND ARTHUR J. GALLAGHER & RISK
MANAGEMENT SERVICES, LLC
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds, determines and declares that:
(a) On February 11, 2015 the City issued a request for proposals for insurance
brokerage services. Based on its Proposal, the City determined that Arthur J. Gallagher Brokers
of California, Inc., was the best qualified firm with the most cost effectiveness and entered into a
professional services contract with them on July 13, 2020 ("Agreement'). Arthur J. Gallagher
Brokers of California, Inc., has now become Arthur J. Gallagher & Risk Management Services,
LLC.
(b) The Proposal provides for a five-year price schedule to be implemented by
yearly amendments to the Agreement.
C Section 2. The City Council hereby approves the "Third Amendment Agreement
Between the City and Arthur J. Gallagher & Risk Management Services, LLC Broker Fee" and
ratifies the Original Agreement dated July 13, 2020, the First Amendment dated July 1, 2021 and
the Second Amendment dated June 30, 2023.
Section 3. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to enter into an amendment
to the Agreement extending the term to June 30, 2025 in order to implement the final year of the
Proposal in an amount of $54,000 for the period of July 1, 2024 to Jane 30, 2025.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
