CONSENT CALENDAR
Unless otherwise indicated below, the following pertains to all items on the Consent Calendar.
Approved the Staff Recommendation (6-0): Motion by Wilson, Second by Farnbach. The vote
reflected unanimous approval.

Recommendation: Approve the action minutes of March 28, 2024
BUSINESS
2. Meet your Metro+Team
Introduced: Sgt. Sandoval, Morrow, Cooper and Grosser (Sheriff); Elsa Wigle (Fire); Gus
Gonzalez (Code Enforcement).
3. Receive Presentation from Temecula Community Services Department regarding Old Town
Temecula Events
Received presentation, no action.
4. Long Range Planning Application No. LR23-0429, Mark Collins
Recommendations: That the Old Town Local Advisory Committee review the following
proposals and provide general recommendations regarding the same.
A. Amend the Municipal Code to consolidate all Alcohol Standards into
a New Chapter entitled, "Chapter 17.09 (Alcohol)" to include Type 90
Establishments, and create Class IV Entertainment License (Chapter
9.10)
Recommended approval to allow future Conditional Use Permits (CUPs) being required to shut
off alcohol sales at midnight (4-2): Motion by Wilson, Second by Nunn. The vote reflected
unanimous approval with Anderson and Ngo opposing.
B. Amend the Old Town Temecula Specific Plan to include provisions
for Type 90 Entertainment Venues
Recommended approval to allow two (2) Type 90 Permits in Old Town Temecula (5-1):
Motion by Nunn, Second by Wilson. The vote reflected unanimous approval with Farnbach
opposing.
Recommended approval to allow midnight closing hours for Type 90 Permit (6-0): Motion by
Uriarte, Second by Anderson. The vote reflected unanimous approval.
Recommended approval to allow minors but with conditions on the Type 90 Permit (6-0):
Motion by Anderson, Second by Nunn. The vote reflected unanimous approval.
C. Amend the Old Town Temecula Specific Plan to implement a
one-year pilot program for outdoor live entertainment Temporary Use
Permits (TUP)
Recommended approval of the Staff Recommendation (6-0): Motion by Wilson, Second by
Anderson. The vote reflected unanimous approval.
