Soil shall be hauled from/to a legally permitted site. Advanced warning signs shall be placed as stated in the permit application. All disturbed landscaping and other improvements shall be removed/repaired and replaced to the satisfaction of Public Works Inspector. Permittee shall contact Land Development Services | Temecula CA , a minimum of two (2) business days prior to any work. Permittee must also request a final inspection, via Land Development Services | Temecula CA, to verify completion of project. Streets used as haul route shall be kept clean of spillage including dirt, mud, runoff water and debris. Any such spillage shall be removed immediately and the street area cleaned to the satisfaction of the inspector. The Permittee shall furnish and operate a self-loading motor sweeper for the purpose of keeping the pavement areas clean. The sweeper shall be present at all hours whenever trucks are running and until one hour after hauling has stopped each day. City Inspector may limit number of trucks leaving the site or require an alternate route or hauling hours due to volume of traffic and congestion on haul route streets. This permitted agrees to indemnify, defend and save the City, its authorized agents, officers, representatives and employees, harmless from and against any and all penalties, liabilities or loss resulting from claims or court action and arising out of any accident, loss or damage to persons or property happening or occurring as a proximate result of any work undertaken under the permit granted pursuant to this application.. A pre-construction meeting is required 48 hours prior to any work. Permittee shall contact the Land Development Division - Inspections at Email: LDInspections@TemeculaCA.gov 24 hours prior to start of actual work. All U.S.A. mark outs shall be removed prior to completion of project. Permission is hereby requested to encroach into public right of way to perform work as set forth above. It is understood that this permit is limited to the work described herein and that all work is to be done in compliance with the provisions attached to this permit and with all other applicable rules, responsibility for said compliance, for acceptability of the work, and for repair or replacement thereof if defective, and for repair or replacement of any existing improvement damaged by the doing of the work. General Liability: One million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence for bodily injury, personal injury and property damage. If Commercial General Liability Insurance or other form with a general aggregate limit is used, either the general aggregate lim it shall apply separately to this project/location or the general aggregate limit shall be twice the required occurrence limit. b. Automobile Liability: One million dollars ($1,000,000) per accident for bodily injury and property damage. c. Worker’s Compensation as required by the State of California; Employer’s Liability: One million dollars ($1,000,000) per accident for bodily injury or disease. GENERAL INFORMATION 1. A Haul Route Plan must be submitted with a Haul Route Application. The approved Haul Route Plan must be kept on the job site at all times. A deviation from the plan requires approval from the City. (Any portion of the haul route that is located in River side County or another City shall require approval by that public agency.) 2. At least 24 hours before the hauling is to commence, the applicant shall notify the City via LDInspections@temeculaca.gov 3. Haul Route plans expire 6 months from the date of permit issuance . 4. Tracking onto City streets is prohibited and shall be prevented at all times. The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining public right -of-ways used for hauling purposes in a condition free of dust, soils and debris. Haul vehicles will comply with the freeboard requirements of Section 23114 of the California Vehicle Code for both public and private roads. 5. Loading and transportation of hauled materials shall be accomplished within the time limitations established in Title 18 of the Municipal Code Section 18.09.200, Time of Operations. The City reserves the right to limit the number of trucks and hours of op eration depending upon the location of the project and impacts to traffic circulation. 6. Disposal of all waste and recycling materials removed as part of any grading project shall be in compliance with the City’s Solid Waste Franchise Agreement . Questions regarding the removal of construction waste or recyclable materials shall be directed to the City of Temecula Building & Safety Department at (951) 694 -6439. 7. The last 50 feet of access road, as it approaches the intersection with the public roadway, shall be constructed of gravel or equivalent material to prevent mud and debris f r o m dropping from the wheels onto the street lanes. 8. There must be 300 feet clear unobstructed sight distance to the intersection from both the public roadway and the access road. (If the sight distance cannot be obtained, flagmen shall be posted.) 9. Advance warning signs shall be posted on the public roadway 400’ on either side of the access intersection with the words “Trucks Crossing”. Signs shall be diamond shaped with orange background; each sign shall be 30” in length with black letters 5” in he ight. Signs shall be placed 6’ from edge of pavement, with base of sign 5’ above the pavement level. Signs may be higher in areas conflicting with pedestrian, bicycle or equestrian traffic and shall be covered or removed when the access is not in use. A dditional signs may be required depending on the site location. 10. A stop sign conforming to the requirements of the California Vehicle Code shall be posted at the entrance of the access road to the public roadway. 11.
