Home My WebLink About96-002 CC ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 96-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING CERTAIN OFFERS OF EASEME~S AND LOTS FOR DRAINAGE AND RELATED PURPOSES MADE TO THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE AND THE CITY OF TEMECULA, AND AUTHORIZING QUITCLAIM OF SAID EASEMENTS AND LOTS TO THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT. (VARIOUS LOCATIONS) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, The County of Riverside did not accept offers of dedication of certain easements and lots for storm drain, drainage, drainage and flowage, drainage and access, and drainage purposes, at Final Map approval of Tract Maps No. 20881, 20882-3, 21764, 22148, and 22593-2, and Parcel Maps No. 19582-2, 19677, 21670, and 23561-1; and, WHEREAS, The County of Riverside did not accept offers of dedication of certain drainage easements acting as agent for the City of Temecula at Final Map approval of Tract Map No. 23483; and, WHEREAS, The County of Riverside did not accept other Irrevocable Offers of Dedication for drainage and access and storm drain easements recorded as conditions for the referenced map approvals; and, WHEREAS, The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District has requested that the City of Temecula, as successors-in-interest upon incorporation, to accept the said offers of dedication as set forth above, and to authorize the quitclaim of said offers to the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Temecula hereby accepts the offers of dedication and authorizes the quitclaim of said easements and lots to the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto.
