SB & 0, Inc., February 22, 2005, "Rough Grading Plan, Lot 16, Tract 9833- 3", Scale I" = 20', Sheets 1,2, & 3 of3. Dear Mr. Plunkett: In accordance with your request, we have prepared this "Revised seepage Pit Layout" for the above referenced site (Lot 16 of Tract No. 9833-3) along Calle De Velardo in the city of Temecula in southwest Riverside County, California. Our investigation included a review of the previous Preliminary Sewage Disposal Investigation (see reference), review of the 20-scale Plot Plan of the subject site, a site reconnaissance, and layout of the proposed seepage pit system based on a total of 62 fixture units. The system had been previously designed for a 5/6-bedroom home utilizing a maximum of 45 fixture units with a percolation rate of 3.96-gallons/square feet/day. Utilizing a 2,750-gallon septic tank (62 fixture units), a 5-ft diameter pit, and a percolation rate of 3.96-gallons/square feet/day would require 49-ft of effective sidewall. This corresponds to two 5-ft diameter pits to a depth of 25-ft below the 4-ft inlet elevation. The proposed system design is presented on the Plot Plan, Plate 1, included with this letter. The findings of this report are valid as of the report date. However, changes in the conditions of a property can occur with the passage of time, whether they be due to natural processes or the works of man on this or adjacent properties. In addition, changes in applicable or appropriate standards may occur, whether they result from legislation or the broadening of knowledge. T.H.E. Soils Company, Inc. W.O.
