All vegetation, debris, and other material observed and considered to be improper tor fill purposes, were removed from the proposed construction site. B. The areas to receive fill were drain pipe risers. C. Compaction achieved by Trench Roller and/or Hydro Hammer. 2. FILL PROCEDVRE A.. Fill materials were placed in horizontal layers a maximum of 3 inches in depth. and were compacted. B. Fill materials were mi'\:ed to obtain consistency. C. Field testing began during backfill of riser. To assure consistency and uniformity of the work performed in compliance with the project requirements. testing for compaction was performed randomly or as requested by the contractor. D. Backfill and compaction performed under continuous full supervision of this ftrm. 3. C01\IPACTlON TESTI.l~G A. Field density tests were taken by ?\uclear Gauge yrethod in accordance with ASTM DES: D-1556-82. B. Field density tests were taken at the approximate locations as sho\'m on the Approximate Field Density Test Location Map. C. Maximum dry density was obtained by the laboratory procedure ASTl'vr DES: D- 1557-78. D. Test results represent our tindings at the time of testing and location. 4 A . . 02IO-1-S1.C t7I:,....1:l?4L t71:i4()1~t7 I:iI:{)UIl?L"I:~S I. .~y additional grading must be approved and tested by this ftrm. ~ Ponding of water should not be allowed anywhere on the trench area. 3. .-\11 grading recommendations and building ordinances must be observed and maintained at all times. ~.
