T1521-C May 1999 Page 2 Maximum dry densityloptimurn moisture content tests were conducted on samples of the native materials . and imported aggregate base. The tests were performed in general accordance with ASTM D1557-78 I procedures. The results are presented in the Appendix of this report. Relative compaction testing was I performed in general accordance with ASTM D-2992-81 using ASTM D3017 procedures for detenmining , in-place density and moisture content, respectively, using nuclear density gauge equipment. Test results i are presented in the Appendix and the approximate test locations are shown on the site plan, also : presented in the Appendix of this report. , In-place density test results indicate a minimum of 90 percent relative compaction for subgrade in parking . lot and trench backfill areas of the site, and 95 percent relative compaction in the aggregate base. The . native soils encountered on the site consisted of Brown to Reddish Brown Silty Sand. Import earth materials consisted of Aggregate Base. : Based on the observations and tests performed in the areas noted as test locations, the post grading . operation has been completed in accordance with the Referenced No. 2 report and the grading code of : the City of Temecula California. :Thank you for the opportunity to provide these services.
