Discussion This study will calculate the existing onsite flows and calculate the size of the drainage devices. The.site is located at the southeast corner of Ynez Road and Overland Drive. The site is bounded on the north by Overland Drive, which is a fully improved street. Ynez Road, a fully improved street, bounds the site on the west. Long Canyon Channel, a natural drainage channel, abuts the site along the southeasterly boundary. The.site currently is vacant. The existing contours flow from north to south toward an existing storm drain inlet located at the southwest corner of the site. The storm drain discharges into the channel. The site is graded such that the majority of the site will drain southwesterly to a catch basin that will connect to the existing storm drain inlet. The northwesterly corner of the site around the two restaurant pads will drain into a private storm drain that will connect to the back of an existing catch basin on Overland Drive near the intersection with Ynez Road. The .soil types in this area per the RCFCD soil maps indicate a mixture of B & C. Soil type C was used for this study as the more conservative value.
