MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CITY OF TEMECULA
DIRECTOR'S HEARING
DECEMBER 13, 2007
A regular meeting of the City of temecula Director's Hearing was called to order on Thursday,
December 13, 2007 at 1 :30 p.m. in the Main Conference Room, located at 43200 Business Park
Drive, Temecula, California. Principal Planner Patrick Richardson presiding.
Also present were, Associate Planner Dana Schuma and Minute Clerk Cynthia Lariccia.
Item No.1: Planning Aoolication No. PA07-0283. a Minor Conditional Use Permit to allow fo~
the establishment of a dav soa business in the Overland Retail Center. located at
41653 Maraarita Road
Principal Planner convened the meeting and opened the public hearing at 1 :30 p.m.
Associate Planner Dana Schuma presented an overview of the project and staff
recommendations. The day spa will operate from a 1,748 square foot unit within a multi-tenant
retail center. The day spa will operate seven days a week and does not exceed the cumulative
parking needs. The project has been deemed to be CEQA exempt under Section 15301, Class
1, Existing Facilities. The project is consistent with the General Plan, the Development Code,
and all applicable policies.
Applicant Judith Roach, 45388 Willowick Street, Temecula, reviewed and concurred with the
Conditions of Approval.
No other persons were in attendance to speak in opposition or support of the project.
Principal Planner closed the public hearing and approved Planning Application No. PA07-0283
subject to the Conditions of Approval.
