DIRECTOR'S HEARING
JULY 24, 2008
A regular meeting of the City of Temecula Director's Hearing was called to order on Thursday,
July 24, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the Main Conference Room, located at 43200 Business Park
Drive, Temecula, California. Deputy Director of Planning Patrick Richardson presiding.
Also present were Associate Planner Katie Lecomte and Minute Clerk Kathy Simpkins
Item No. 1: Planning Application Number PA08-0051, a Minor Conditional Use Permit for the
operation of Faro De Luz Nueva Esoeranza (Lighthouse Community Church)
within an existing 18,400 square foot
Deputy Director of Planning Richardson opened the public hearing at 1:32 p.m.
Associate Planner Lecomte presented an overview of the project and staff recommendations.
Planning application is a request for a Minor Conditional Use Permit for the operation of Faro De
Luz Nueva Esperanza, Lighthouse Community Church to operate inside an 18,400 square foot
industrial building. The project as proposed remains consistent with the City's General Plan,
Development Code, and all applicable Ordinances.
In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the project has been deemed
categorically exempt from further environmental review per Section 15305, Class 01.
Associate Planner Lecomte stated that the applicant has read and agrees with the Conditions of
Approval.
Deputy Director of Planning asked the applicant's representative to state his name for the
record and was he in agreement with the Conditions of Approval.
Kassen Klein 41538 Eastman Drive, Murrieta, stated that he was in agreement with the
Conditions of Approval.
No other persons were in attendance to speak in opposition or support of the project. Deputy
Director of Planning closed the public hearing and approved Planning Application No. PA08-
0051 subject to the Conditions of Approval.
