Soil Tech, Inc., October 17, 1995, Updated Geotechnical Engineering Report, Proposed Single Family Residential 1 Community, Tract Map 21430-1, Lots 1-61, General Kearny Road, City of Murrieta, Riverside County, California, Project Number: T2211 -GS. 1 Gentlemen: Representatives from EnGEN Corporation have conducted in-place density tests during 1 recompaction of near -surface earth materials within the limits of foundation demolition for the above -referenced project site. The overexcavation and recompaction were performed following demolition and removal of the concrete slabs and footings on each of the above - referenced lots compacted. Fill materials placed for the proposed structure on each of the subject lots have been tested by representatives of this firm. 1 In-place density and moisture content testing were performed in the proposed house pad areas on each of the subject lots at depths of 1.0 to 2.0 -inches below finished pad grades. The test results indicate that the soils meet a minimum relative compaction of 90 1 percent of maximum dry density and were within 2.0 percent of the optimum moisture content for the material tested, based upon ASTM D1557-78(90) procedures. Results of the in-place density testing are shown in the Appendix. 1 1 corporate Office 41607 Enterpnse Circle North, Suite 1 Temecula, CA 92590 (909)676-3095/Fax: 676-3294 1 Orange County Office 2615 Orange Avenue Web -page address: w .engencorp.com Santa Ana. As a result, each lot has been classified with respect to expansive soils potential, and recommendations for design and construction are presented in the Appendix to this report. The opportunity to be of assistance is appreciated. Please direct any questions you may have regarding this submittal to this office at your convenience.
