Dear Ms. Wickes:
This report presents the results of ow recertification of �he finish�d pad located at the abov�mentioned
site. In-place density fes�ing was performed within the proposed building pad to confiim its
competence. Passing tea� results were obtained on the pad indicating the area tested has not been
compromised. T'est resi,alts are presented in Table I.
In-place density tests �vere performed in accordance with ASTM D 2922-91 (Nuclear Density�
Method). Maxinwm density/optimum moisture tests from the referenced report (listed in Table In
were used to provide relative compaction results.
Based on our s�u�ficxal observations and testing, it appears the building pad has not been compromised
since the completion of rough grading and is suitable for the proposed development. The
recommendations coirtained in the referenced report (see Appendig A) should be complied with
during development.
As referenced in the "Compaction Report" by T.H.E. Soils Co., Inc., art-to-fill transitions were locaied
inside the original proposed building pad at the house footprirn location, as staked and represented by
the contractor. Therefnre, the building pad was overexcavated a minimum of 3-ft below the finish
grade elevation and 10-ft beyond the original building footprint, as represented by the contractor. If
the new building footprint, elevation or location is altered or relocated, T.H.E. Soils Co., Inc. should
review the proposed location and additional recommendations will be made at that time. The
foundation excavations should be inspected by the soils engineer prior to placemerrt of concrete.
